Organized Sports, what it represents and why its so popular

like many in america, personally i like to take in a football game every weekend from the 2 teams i like- but how did so many organized sports get so popular, what does it stem from, why are people so obsessed and fanatical, supersticious even?

What it represents- order and dominance in a organized manner in a otherwise chaotic cruel and random world. take football for example, 4 quarters, each quarter has an equal and set amount of time, pre-arranged pre- agreed set of rules to be enforced during game play by officials. part of the draw of sports is real life  can be so unnecessarily cruel, random and cold that people want some order and continuity, regardless of what it really is. theres sanity in a set of rules, enforced, in equally portined parts of time. theres also the lonely ness factor, if you support a team you suddenly have a small mob on your side, who shares your ideals on one specific matter, who would riot with you in defence of your ideas or one of your mob friends. being part of something that others are is a good feeling, belonging to something is a basic human drive.

People like it because it gives them something to belong to and to believe in, sports stars like it because they get paid millions to play a game that is utterly meaningless, a sense of phsyical domination over lesser people, and a chance to be the 'greatest' at one particular thing for a short peroid of time. Corporations and owners love the game because they get richer owning and marketing their respective teams, selling thier products. forget espn btw, and bunch of former players but for the most part a bunch of never-was with 'expert-analysis' they get paid to sit around and speak about what others accomplish, or the pitful squabblings that goes on in the players personal life which is a part of everyday life for anyone.

now with all that being said
BOOMER SOONER and go Dallas!

Serve me up a big plate of Continuity Someone

A little continuity- please reign it down on me from the greatest height possible. everyday surrounded by nunces and people who want to believe something on one end of the spectrum, but not look at the whole equasion on the other end. continuity i want to see people live up to how they speak, not just part of the time. continuity in persona's- don't be 10 different people to 10 different friends- do as though wilt shall be the whole of the law- don't be ashamed of who you are, and don't pretend to be something your not- ever and for any reason whatsoever.  continuity people- live it love it enjoy the life you've chosen for yourself- don't be fake.

Should I say woe unto us or am I focusing too much on the negative?

Should i say our economy is going down the drain in america, our banking institiutions and finace sector down the pipe, the very value of the money we print is devaluing and i say woe unto us. Most adults attention span is like a 4 year old childs at best and should i say woe unto us?on multiple occassions i've defended my position on reading and why it's good to be informed on history and all theories of all subjects and i say woe unto us. Reading is scoffed out and encouraged to be made fun of and i say woe unto us. trying to use reason and asking any questions will receive ridicule with the utmost aggression and i say woe unto us. put your thoughts and questions out there on the internet, but for 1 confirmation you recieve you got 10 'experts' telling you about yourself even though they're literal strangers and i say woe unto us. apaprently in the internet age every one is an expert on every topic and every person and i say woe unto us. is anyone worth your time if this is how a vast majority act and i say woe unto us.

keep fighting and live and create the world you want to live in and i say joy unto us. fight the assholes and the idiots, show the door, maybe even give them a little nudge and i say joy unto you and that person. random strangers on the internet don't deserve your time regardless of what they claim at or about you and your beliefs and i say joy unto us, unless of course your a complete uniformed idiot. being what you want and what you are and i say joy unto you. let it be, play the ball as it lies, find the strength it takes to say to ere is to be human, and i am human and will continue to change and try and learn and joy unto the planet

I need a soapbox to testify on your street corner

Information in a disinformation age

This typed rant will mainly be about the control mechanism that has ruled the planet

The powers that be, and not the 'president' or dictator king and queen of any country exalt the real power which is the elite banking families and their corporations which sprawl the planet. When a particular family has been rich for literally hundreds and some over a thousand years, you better believe that they are the real ones in control of what goes on on this planet. They call the shots, they make the policies, they make the shit happen, they simply get their minions to relay the messages for them. The kicker is that they work in collusion together-all the richest families, they've been doing this for possibly over a thousand years now- even giving the illusion of opposition, but time and time again one maxim holds true for them, 'business as usual'. Everyone knows now with little intelligence that most of the first world countries on this planet are run for corporate gains and the ever expanding powers the government. They use slave labor from the third world countries to make criminal blood stained profits. They don't care about the people, it's a lie, they are not our kings, they are not our queens, they are not our presidents, they only care about themselves and seeing that their ideology, long term plans, complete control scheme and political ideals survives. Will the population of earth continued to be herded like sheep and continue to believe stories of bogeymen and angels? we'll see.

’Stigma’s’

An afflicition plaugues the mind of many now. A sort of 'group think' as you will, were instead of actual provable fact heresay and rumor are the capstone paramount in thought and discussion. A time in the minds of many were rumor beats fact, sweeping generalizations and catch phrases are expected and not thrown out for what they are. Sweeping generalizations which usually are outright lies, used to stifle discussion, thought, investigation or dissent is accepted behavior. If you use a generalization, or tell an outright lie about something that can be looked up, you better be able to prove it definitevely in this day and age, when all that someone has to do is pull their phone out to check the claim made, or visit a computer and spend minimal time looking for the truth. These things don't work anymore.  Stigma's that come with a word falsify or misrepresent the meaning of the word, like the word's 'terrorist' 'nigger' or 'conspiracy'. A word is a word, it has a simple meaning, usually defined in a dictionary, no more no less. It goes like this, a square is a square, a circle a circle, a triangle a triangle- thus the same for a majority of the words we use. Though the words might have very curious meanings from the language we borrowed it from, the word itself does not convey more meaning because it is what it is, specifically defined and thus should be specifically used.
